What you said about how companies are paying you to be AVAILABLE more than anything is key. While you're on the clock, you're there to do the work and respond to communication/requests from coworkers and supervisors. Being paid does not necessarily mean you're going to be nose-to-the-grindstone for the entire 8 hours. And if you are, find a different job lol.

Question about LinkedIn- if I’m applying for similar jobs should I make a new LinkedIn profile? If not, what happens if my new employer asks me to list them on my LinkedIn? Seems like a risk

Software developer, Project Manager, Instructional Design too. I'm an ID and trying to lock in some lower-level ID positions for course design. Close to landing my first job stack, we'll see.

My last job asked me via my w-2 do I have another full time job. I am considering job stacking but I’m not sure if the second jobs w2 will feature the same question and if so, will that tip off my second company right out of the gate
