I grew up in the church. I'm the son of a pastor. I'm a leader within my church. I am a Bible College graduate. I love God. I have always loved God. He has healed me of all my sin and changed me on all things, except one. I have been dealing with one sin for about 17 years. I am not one to cry. But this song (and the scripture it is based on) had me completely broken as I listened to it for the first time this morning. I declare today that I will stand for my house. My family WILL serve the Lord

I have 4 kids and an exhusband who has struggled with drug addiction for many years who I divorced 5 years ago.He has been clean now for 2 years and we are engaged once again thanks to the power and love of God! My children are 11 and under and our family stands on this song everyday!!!! Glory be to God!!!! As for me and my house, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD :)

I'm so happy to hear that, Sean. I made a similar prayer before I met my husband. I was sick and tired of falling for the wrong guy. I was at one point at the end of my resources and cried out, Lord, choose me the next one! And please, let it be THE ONE, and let it be FOREVER. Just months after my heartfelt (and heartbroken!) prayer, I met my husband. We've been together since 1999, married in 2004 and have a precious son. God answers prayers! And he's a born-again Christian!

i had a alcohol addiction. i started going to church one day, n i felt something amazing inside, it made me cry uncontrollably. had me thinking about my drinking problem and i wanted to stop. all in a sudden i didn't have cravings anymore, i quit my job!! and found a christian workplace coincidentally and now im happy as i ever been!!!! god is he can the impossible and if you have relationship w him, he will help you. just trust in him
