I like giving defence-splitting passes, dribbling, distant-shooting and assisting. A CM or winger.

6:06 I literally went to school just to play football. Classes were the second priority. This shouldn't be, but I did.

What’s YOUR favourite position on the pitch? /Jay

I've had 3 postions in the last 3 year, Attacking Mid, Defence, Winger. It's really helped my game

im good at dribbling, passing, creating space and a good playmaker, i think I’ll be a Central Attacking Midfielder.

The first position i played was a CM but i like to play more offensive, ill go for CAM or false 9 position

I'm good at dribbling, good speed, but i'm bad at shooting. I'm decent at crossing and passing and i'm a pretty tough defender. What position is perfect for me?

I play as a goalkeeper, and when I was younger I used to be an outfield player (mainly a forward because I loved to try and score goals). If I didn’t become a goalkeeper I would have more than likely become some type of forward because I HATE defending. Even now I love to score goals. Every Sunday afternoon me and my friends head to the pitch to play a little scrimmage match and there are no keepers, everyone plays outfield. So that really helps me with my footwork.

I became a goalkeeper originally because when I was younger, running up and down on the pitch I found was tiring. I looked at the different positions I can play and saw that goalkeepers don’t really do much in a game. I tried the position and now I love playing it! It feels so good to block a shot. Even if your team is performing poorly, keeping a clean sheet in that game (especially if you face a lot of shots) will result with your teammates praising you.

In the Sunday games I mentioned earlier, everyone plays outfield. It gets pretty crazy at times but at the end of the day we just have fun. I even scored last week, TWICE. Not many people showed up last week and the person who was defending the goal was a little child, but STILL. These games really help me with my footwork a lot because that is one of the main drawbacks I have. I think a bigger drawback is my distrobution but I also need to improve my footwork. I can shoot, pass, head the ball and read the game but I can’t pull off the skill moves my friends can. I have OK dribbling but the drills we do in training for example dribbling through the cones, I am terrible at those....

Ok enough about my feet. I have OK handling, I’m slowly getting better. I am not afraid to dive for any ball, you can even verify this from my friends. They even say that I can dive beautifully.

Picking your position on the pitch is very important to think about from a young age. Once you pick your position, stick to it and get better at it. Otherwise you won’t grow in the position. People may pick one position then move to the next very quickly because they want to learn how to play multiple positions. Being versatile is a great mind set to have, but you have to stay disciplined. I’m not saying to stay for example in Right Back forever or for longer than you would want, but make sure you learn and adapt to the position before moving to play for example center back, left back or even in midfield.

But if you switch positions very quickly to see which one is best for you, this is ok. You want to develop experience in as many positions as possible in order to choose the absolute best one for you.

You must also focus on drills that oblique to your selected role. Example if your a striker, you might want to work on finishing, dribbling, positioning, etc. If your a midfielder, dribbling, passing, and positioning come in handy as well.

If attacking midfield isn’t working out for you, try being a winger, striker, false 9 or even a defensive position. You might be surprised on what you’re good at. Heck, you might even be good as a goalie comparing to what happened to me. Don’t be afraid to try new things!

My favorite place in the pitch is where I can show the best skills

I am pretty good at dropping deep and creating chances for my teammates(long ball or create space)
I am also pretty pacy, good at finishing outside the box(i find it easier lmao) and ok at defending
So i guess midfield is the best choice
Its just that after 30 min im already tired
So i am usually played in the left wing

2:34 my coach puts me and I always cost a lot of penalties. I'm a midfielder at heart: I'm fast af. Fastest on the team. Most technical and have superb passes and I'm very good at taking shots.

Hey Unisport, I played as a goalkeeper for a long time but then had an injury and was bedridden for about a year and a half but I started playing again as soon as I possibly could. But haven't been playing even close to as good as I was able to. Could you guys please suggest methods to get back into it? Love your videos by the way.🔥⚽
