You can instantly recognize Shida by his effects.

They always have a weird and water-like shape, and he loves panning the camera around it or around the character.

His character faces are also very expressive with curved eyes, and mouths that are almost as big as the head.

Edit: Also his erratic camera work, and distinctive shading style.
