Loved this story. I would’ve liked to understand how Bruce got interested in IBD at first; at top schools the context generally drives you to be interested in finance, but that was not probably his case.

Great stuff — especially the part on nutrition. A game changer for me has been skipping breakfast and no carbs for lunch. Focus on proteins (mostly fish wild caught, white meat, and red once a week) together with salad or veggies, no bread — you will experience much higher energy levels and focus throughout the day. Dinner around 9pm, you can eat carbs, will put you in a good spot for a sleep around 2-3am. Waking up next day around 7/8am.

Also when picking ingredients, try to focus on things that are in the same shape in nature (for example, apple, almonds, nuts, etc — instead of refined stuff that’s tasty but without nutrients)
