I've definitely been known to plant more than I have space for 😂 I have found topping the seedlings with vermiculite helps with moisture control and keeps the pests away.

I would like to see that I really enjoyed your video it was very helpful and informative my husband just every second built My Greenhouse my kids and him brought me two years ago for Christmas but I'm really nervous about starting We live Arizona so we will get plenty of Sun barely have Winters spring pretty much starts mid February which is really great we are slowly organizing and getting ready to start our 1st batch of seedlings is this song exciting for us thank you for the great tips

So I got Manzano pepper seeds a while back and wasn't sure how viable the seeds would be, so I planted 3 per cell.. in 72 cells😅😅

I currently have whittled down the number of seedlings to 130, but man, I had no idea they were gonna do so well 😂 I'll be giving away quite a few seedlings and hopefully selling some as well, but I'm still not sure what to do about the rest!

Was also curious if you have ventured into tissue culture propagation?
Not sure there is a need for it in the pepper world but it is interesting.

Just wish Bootstrap Farmer shipped to the UK. Can’t get that style of 6 cell trays anywhere in Europe.

I’ve found that all potting soil is infested with gnat eggs.
Do you sterilize your potting soil? Or do you control the gnats once they show up?
I had huge gnat and aphid problem last year. Tried just about everything, but I had a lot of flats and vegetation and those things hide everywhere. The air root pruning packs gave them more places to hide.
I sprayed the flats outside with horticultural oil just prior to transplanting and that seemed to take care of them or they flew off.😊

Disagree about the comment about windowsills being just fine, very likely will cause the seedlings furthest away from the window to stretch and become leggy as they try to get nearer to the light, if you do put things on windowsills, it’s incredibly important to rotate the tray daily.

I have a smalll greenhouse in my house. Just started some seeds. After they sprout I’m going to get a small grow light. Do I need to keep the greenhouse in a dark room? Will my house lights mess with it?
