Given the time it takes to test the quadspi, couldn’t that be done in parallel some how. Watching the operators fingers tap like that just made me think “every tap is worth a few cents!” :)
Couldn’t something like that be tested on a panel of them, then do the functional tests after depanelization?

This is cool, I'd wondered how the CPX was programmed & tested. A couple questions: do you have any pics or video of PyPortal's being programmed & tested like this?I've been curious as to the tester design & method.

2nd, Why don't you have more testers made & lined up? Wouldn't it be a more cost & time effective to have a half a dozen or so tester units (though thinking about it, cost of the units, could the expense of making the testers exceed the benefit) lined up, so as one is being tested the worker can go down the line setting more to be tested allowing the time to be better spent?

Hope you don't mind the inquiry, I enjoy learning various the production methodology & thinking of different companies.

Are you using JTAG and Boundary Scan? Or test bench connects all pins individually for testing?
