Loving what I see from Scottie. Not only on court, but the love he is showing the city off the court is awesome. I questioned picking him over Suggs at first. But the more I saw from Scottie, the more I love that decision.
Defensive player award by the end of his career? I give him 5 years or less to win one lol

I think Boucher will start. It doesnt matter how much hype there is around you. With Nick Nurse you gotta earn his trust first. If Boucher gets in a slump or if bench production is horrible, we might see him switch things up and give scottie some opportunities

Scottie effectively boxed out drummond got a put back over him as well, locked up donovan mitchell, blocked the crap outtta hardaway jr and was pinning everything to the backboard if someone tried driving on him. he is LEGIT!

Still not 100% sold on scottie ove Suggs but he's growing on me and I'm starting to think he was the right pick for us, only time will tell though

11.5 points 6 rebounds 5.5 assist 0.8 steal 1.2 block. I think he will be used more as a defending playmaker atleast in his first season. His scoring play will definitely improve to 15+ points per game by his third season.

congrats on u actually were spot on the only thing i disagree with is the point averages to be honest i think hell be around the 10 mark, hes going to be very fisical in defense and hes not a great 3 pt shooter so the only way for him to get consistent buckets is attacking the rim, hes also a great passer so if the opportunity presents itself and two defenders collapse on him hes gonna look for the open man. Appart from that great work! keep talking abt the raptors w ur friends cuz at some point the raps are gonna prove them wrong !!!

Will, I’m directing this to you. Hope you will read and reply. To all your friends who think and say the Raptors are shit, please ask yourselves what you know about our team. Every team has its cycle of shitty / non playoff years. No team has been dominant forever. Lakers, Spurs, Heat, Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, Bulls etc. All these championship teams haven’t seen the playoffs for multiple years at a stretch except for recently.

The Raps are one of the newest franchises in the nba and most of your American players have this narrow mind about playing 41 games across the border as if Toronto is comparable to Afghanistan or is half way across the world.

We have been one of the best teams since 2013. Consisten in the regular season and only faltering in the playoffs when facing Lebron.

Our franchise is one the best run and our player development is second to none. Barring last season, you could argue we’ve had the best decade in the NBA, even without your so called superstars.
So please, if you’re going to make Raptors’ videos and monetize off the fans, the least you can you is correct the misconception and educate the ignorant. Hoping you already do your best.

Not to mention our championship run, more than the championship itself. We had one “superstar” and the rest of the team still didn’t get their due credit for the great year and run. One man never wins you a chip.

We were totally counted out the following year and we finished SECOND in the entire league, with ping one game of meeting Miami in the ECF.

Just imagine Lebron or Giannis off their respective teams. How do you think the rest of them will fare? I’ll tell you, they probably won’t even make the playoffs.

I love Scottie and I’m willing to give him all the slack for his first year but I think he’ll definitely outpace my expectations. I don’t like going too high or too low on my predictions. We’ll see but I think he’ll still impress. The guy is built like a tank

I think there's a 10 min video with Scottie Barnes, GTJ and Collin Sexton playing a pickup game with other NBA players. If that's what you are referring to, then yeah, I was impressed with Scottie as well. His defense guarding established players was NBA ready. After watching that vid I was thinking, will Scottie make the starting lineup with Siakam out? Damn he looks ready but I still believe Bourcher gets the nod at PF for now. I was also thinking Collin Sexton would look good in a Raps uni.

14 ppg is pretty high imo. Goran averaged 14 ppg last year and he's a much better scorer than Scottie so imo I think Scottie will be around 9-10 ppg

Raptors might start precious achiuwa until Pascal Siakam is back from Injury. Chris Boucher scoring off the Bench is instrumental. Plus he stretches the floor if and when he plays with Scottie coming off the Bench. Regardless, the Raptors will be trying multiple lineups.

As a raptors fan I would agree with you when u say Scottie will get a defensive player award..but I can't.. as long as he plays for the raptors he won't get it...it doesn't matter how great he is...look at Freddy...as the most deflection an steals an he never been in that conversation.
