Why do they conflate having a high BMI with being over 175? I recognize I’m more the exception and not the rule, but I’m 6 feet tall and usually between 170 and 175 pounds. My BMI is well within the healthy range, but the way they word things, it would lead me to think I weigh too much for plan b to work.

However, I don’t see any logical reason plan b would not work for me. Would it actually be true that this pill wouldn’t work on me due to my weight, or is it that the studies used to determine this limit are just ignoring the fact that a woman as tall as me exists?

I’m 5’1 and weigh around 150-159 and I’m so scared of the pill not being effective. Plus with all this quarantine stuff I won’t be able to go to planned parenthood

I know Im two years late, but shouldnt it be as simple as increasing the dose for women that are overweight? I ask because I do take other types of medication where my perscription depends on my weight.

I was prescribed plan b by my nurse practitioner at georgia public health. I am at 158 lbs! I am 5’7. She did not mention another alternative. I took one plan b Monday and another pill again yesterday. I am really hoping i don’t get pregnant. I took the pill asap both times. Also just began blisovi fe 1/30. I have weird reactions with birth control so i had stayed off it for about four months.

So a year ago I took plan B and I weighted 166 and got pregnant. This year I took plan b and I now weigh 130 and it worked it changed my period though and I was only a week off but for 5 days I was spotting Then back to being regular so now I know weight has a-lot to do with it.

I've had a copper IUD placed 13 months ago, but this is the first time actually using it as a "Plan B". We were safe, but the condom did break and so I'm nervous about still possibly getting pregnant. Would you recommend taking Plan B as a Plan C?

Is it true that if you’re 170/175 pounds or higher you have to take two plan B in order for it to be effective??

I'm on a mini pill, irregular, have PCOS, and I took a Plan B Sunday. I'm overweight, but I read stuff on the overweight studies and it wasn't completely conclusive. But I haven't missed a pill in like 30+ days, and I'm still nervous 😅 help?

If you get an IUD put in after sex has happened, can that prevent pregnancies?
