The beauty inside wood never ceases to amaze me. My first experience with Jatoba, or Brazilian Cherry, was a challenge because of the density of the wood, and a pleasure because of the rich and radiant, color changing grain.

This man knows what he is doing around a lathe. He is also to be commended for the very simple yet elegant design of the bowl. Its simplicity allows you to focus on the grain and color of the wood.

Yet another lovely piece of work. That wood shimmers so well. And the shape is brilliant. You could fit a fair few apples in that bowl 💖 Many thanks for sharing.
