Recorded at the New York Public Library on February 27th, 2014

Wes Anderson's vivid cinematic aesthetic and idiosyncratic characters make his films both immediately recognizable and endearing. Anderson returns to LIVE to explore his passions, influences, and his newest film The Grand Budapest Hotel, in conversation with Paul Holdengräber.

Wes Anderson was born in Houston, Texas. His films include Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, the short film Hotel Chevalier, the animated feature Fantastic Mr. Fox, and, most recently, Moonrise Kingdom. His new film, The Grand Budapest Hotel, is set to be released in March 2014.

Yep. Didn't think he would have read past the first third. He should though, because there are amazing sections on sleep later in the work, and in "Sodom and Gomorrah" especially.
