The community you’ve built with getting many (me included) introduced to many new films we would’ve never have seen without finding them on your website and selection. I’ve discovered so many directors and new favorite films through the closet episodes a lot so seeing everyone on here in the closet felt inspiring in a sense. Love this video and the joy it brought me to see many other film-lovers and their choices :3

The Closet videos are one of the biggest joys in my life. I have discovered so many beautiful, happy, sad, life-affirming films through this YouTube Channel and the Criterion Channel. Keep doing the great work!

Seeing this gave me so much joy! I'm so glad to live in a world where movies, Criterion, and physical media exist.

In Canada we are starved for Criterion. Hopefully you make it up to Toronto one day. Keep up your wonderful work!

I wish this could happen in Australia some day, lots of us want nab Criterion blu rays so much but our access is limited. We don't even have Barnes & Noble.

I went last Saturday but that line was nuts. Supposedly people were waiting on line for like 6 hours. I’ll try again tomorrow, try earlier. But if the line is crazy again, I’ll probably just go to B&N or Book Off.

Right across the street used to be a Tower Records and they used to have a whole section for Criterion DVDs (this was obviously before Blu-Ray and 4K). The first Criterion movie that I purchased, knowing that it was a Criterion movie, was Le Samourai at that Tower Records about 20 years ago. Hoping I can get the 4K upgrade tomorrow. Have a full circle moment. A couple of Criterion DVDs, some chicken and broccoli at Ollies, that was the move.

I don't care if I have to pay, if CC does this again I'm taking a road trip to NYC...

Watched Things To Come and Hollywood Shuffle last night. I admit that if it hadn't been for Criterion I wouldn't even have glanced at these two fantastic movies.

I am praying they come to the Bay Area with this damn truck! I’m happy to wait on this experience!

Meanwhile, instead of spending HOURS of their lives waiting in line for their little Insta moment they could’ve gone online and ordered all their favorites in a few minutes, and maybe read some of the great articles posted there. Or better yet, bought even MORE stuff during your sales. But a big win for the marketing team, obviously, in knowing that people are like trained seals around attractions like this! 👍👍

You could have just freeze framed on Isabella Rossilini for a minute and we'd all be happy...
