When he came out, people weren’t ready. Nowadays, young people are different than they were in the 80s/90s. Everything is so diverse he would’ve been more excepted now. Back then yeah everyone groove to this one song, but they didn’t give him the respect he deserved because they saw him like the token white like a joke almost. But he really wasn’t a joke. He’s very talented. If he had been born 30 years later, he’d still be doing music today I believe.

Ice's music helped finance the early Dr Dre stuff. He was considered a joke by some, but you couldn't deny the catchy hook and track.
