Whenever anyone says "stop" I always think "collaborate and listen." Amazing song.

Vanilla Ice is WAY more talented than people gave him credit for. He was constantly mocked back in the day but this song was a huge hit and people still remember it.

His mom lives here in Frisco, Tx. He bought her a mansion next to the golf course. But she lives down the street in these nice apartments. We lived right next door to her. Super nice lady. She invited us to her son's birthday party. He was born on Halloween. We went and met him. Several well-known people were there. He is a nice guy.

He wrote this song when he was 16 and it's sold over 10 million copies. One of the things I really loved about music in the 80s and 90s, was the unity. People of all races jammin' together. Those were good times. 😊

he was basically run out by the rap community. They weren't ready for him and he became basically a joke. so sad. but his song sold millions. he is in real estate now, and has done well.

Hip-hop in the 90's was on a different level. It hasn't been the same since then.

One earring was the way to go back then.

When he came out, people weren’t ready. Nowadays, young people are different than they were in the 80s/90s. Everything is so diverse he would’ve been more excepted now. Back then yeah everyone groove to this one song, but they didn’t give him the respect he deserved because they saw him like the token white like a joke almost. But he really wasn’t a joke. He’s very talented. If he had been born 30 years later, he’d still be doing music today I believe.

As far as Vanilla, he's a multimillionaire real estate guy now. He saved his money and invested well. It all started with this song. There's a lot of history with him and Suge Knight from Death Row. Ice's music helped finance the early Dr Dre stuff. He was considered a joke by some, but you couldn't deny the catchy hook and track.

The music from Ice Ice Baby was taken from Queen and David Bowie's song Under Pressure!
