The cuban boxing style is known as defensive savvy, quick feet, well schooled & mostly southpaws.

I trained in multiple martial arts (bjj and Muay Thai) but it didn’t click for me until I started training in Cuban Boxing. The logical systematic progression and rhythm felt like I came home.

I’m grateful for my coach and miss being a part of training camps.

So, Cubans can be the best boxers and dont end up being used in the Mob controlled world of professional boxing. They may not appreciate that, but that's a real win!

Cuban boxing is the boxing of Kid Chocolate, the king of Cuban boxing, defensive and many movements of the legs.Sugar Ray Robinson , He was a fan of Chocolate and he told him personally and he took his style , Also Kid Gavilan worked with Ali, in those two you can see something of the old style of Chocolate

Here in Mexico we have a lot of cubans coaches and fighters. Fighters only can become pro out of cuba, and most of them now prefer to represent Mexico
