2016 Giant Defy Advanced 2

My new 2016 Giant Defy Advanced 2. Just a quick overview since I couldn't find one on YouTube like this one. Bought it at my LBS for $2100 including tax.

I purchased this bike as well. Weighs about 20 lbs. I had to change out the stem as well. stock stem is 100 mm. had me too stretched out. I am not really faster per SE with the carbon. I
It does dampen the road vibration more than my aluminum Trek 1.1. still tweaking the fit. I've been out for 280 kms so far. I like it. I too was after at least shimano 105. Trek has 16 speed Claris. not the greatest for hills. 105 shifts awesome.

beautiful bike, i have same in blue. only thing i would change are the wheelset. feels little heavy but all in all great bike.

I just bought this second hand from the original owner its in like new condition! Mines either a 2015 or 2016 same exact color. Do you still have your bike or have you got a more recent model?

As of June 2016, this bike is now on sale via Giant, or your LBS for $1695. This is an amazing price on a fantastic bike. The sale will essentially end when the bikes are gone, with the 2017 models set to appear in Sept/Oct.

I am looking both this and the Advanced 3. Did you have a similar dilemma? Why did you choose the Advanced 2?

What brand are those bottle cages and what model is that WTB saddle? Is it comfortable for long rides?
