A couple of points to add to my video. Alexander - was never near death - unlike many who are resuscitated - so was not a NDE. Why then his soul would leave his body is not explained. Secondly - when the Dalai Lama heard his testimony - he said - with fantastic claims we need to be certain there is no motive to lie. This is no guarantee that what is being claimed actually happened. People can be convinced they had an experience and make claims about it. They may have had an experience - but may not be justified in making the claim. Interesting that Alexander went directly to writing a book. He did not organise a press conference and announce to the world that heaven exists - which - if he had good motives - one would think he would want to get the information out into the public domain to those who need it - bereaved and the terminally ill - but he went directly for the most lucrative method of releasing his story.

Even immediately-reported memories are unreliable. The memory could have formed as the patient was waking up, but seem as though it was something that happening over the course of the surgery, coma, etc

AFTERLIFE? So is he claiming to have returned from being dead? That's even bigger than claiming to have had out of body experiences!
Does he provide evidence for being clinically dead?

Make up a story, meet lots of celebrities, be interviewed by various media and host seminars (for which he no doubt charges). Great life, hey!
