As a Clippers fan, most of this is depressingly true... BUT one thing that you said that isn't true was when you said when the Clippers went after Kobe, he didn't laugh in their face. He actually said to Sterling 'Don't worry, I'm a Clipper'. Then he spoke to Jerry West who told him that he couldn't play for that owner and he decided to stay with the Lakers but the move was close. Can't say I blame him though. But it's not true that he didn't consider the Clippers.

The worst franchise in sports history. Not just NBA-wise. At least teams that are cursed now or used to be cursed tried to make moves to make the best possible scenarios for them at one point. Yes, even the Lions and Browns. The Clippers couldn't and didn't want to do that for decades until 2010. And even then they proved why they shouldn't be competing no matter what team they have because they blew a 3-1 lead. TWICE. IN 2 DIFFERENT ERAS. Philadelphia did that too, but at least they won championships right before or afterwards. At least the Capitals made it past the second round more than once. At least the Cubs, Blues, Nationals, Cavs, Raptors, Dodgers and Eagles broke their curses recently. At least the Browns and Lions tried to be good in the time the Clippers were either tanking, got injured FAR too much or getting destroyed in the first round.

Unless this franchise wins it all next season (I highly doubt it...), THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY FUCKED. Kawhi and the guy who wouldn't be named again until he gets his shit together will leave and they will have no first round picks until 2026. The chemistry is already horrible as it is and Montrezl Harrell is already a free agent. Their future is more fucked than Philly and Houston.

Basketball was my life due to my Pop and Uncle.
When I was 10 - along come the Braves. In Junior high they practiced where I played. Ernie D was wonderful, Randy Smith was scary ( :) ), they were all bigger then life - to us they were heroes.
Year or two go bye and weird stuff starts happening. Then their gone.
Wide right -- No one remembers no Team.
I'm now 60 ---- haven't watched the NBA or any Basketball since.
