Weege Show: Houston Supercross Review

Jason Weigandt hosts and takes you through a wild night of racing in Houston. Hear some insights from the podium finishers in both the 250SX and 450SX classes as well as Weege's takes on some of the key moments of the night. Then we throw it out to Kellen Brauer who was on the ground at Houston to check out the atmosphere from a post race walk and talk through the pits.

Weege your the best thing about this sport! Could you please pass on to the powers that be at Peacock to show the other riders coming across the finish line. It seems like after the first two riders cross the finish line they stay on them when their is some heated racing going on for that last podium or qualifying spot or just another position.

Deegan is super fit. He was still charging right up to the checkered when others were gassing out and making mistakes.

Bummed for Dylan was really waiting for him to return to racing and wow that crash was scary. Glad he’s okay and wish for a fast & speedy recovery. Head injuries are no joke!!!

Any rounds Dylan might miss because of his concussion in Houston, Star should add those to Justin’s schedule. He done pretty good in first 450 race. Only got better with more gate drops

Great racing again in both classes! Love it!! 250 East looks like it could be VERY interesting despite the missing injured PC guys etc. Antsie for sure is going to be a threat, and Smith, Vialle, and more could give Hunter a challenge. Deegan will be there in the top too.

Solid, smart, fast ride by Chase. Previous years he almost certainly would’ve pushed too hard and taken himself out. Obviously better to settle in for a 2nd instead of a 22nd. He’ll be there to challenge Tomac all year. I hope 🤞 Vialle also did great at his first SX and besides one mistake he’s shown he’ll be a podium guy THIS year. Next year, sky is the limit. And don’t forget about MX and SMX he’ll be a beast there too.

To me it looked like whatever Sexton did to his bike to be so fast through the whoops made his bike really bad through the sand. That combined with Tomac upping the speed through the whoops made for an Eli win.
