There are domains where what matter isn't how the thing is named but what the thing is. There are people who made the same difference between leader and manager. By so doing they assume that a leadership can be conceive such it has no management content and that a management can be conceive such it has no leadership content.
How any position is expressed, is materialized depend on the character and the personality of the one who hold that position.
