Free Roaming Wild Alberta Horses

After a long hard cold winter with deep snow, many of Alberta's wild horses are looking thin and in poor condition. As the grass turns green they will come back in shape to raise their young.

How beautiful they are, even after a harsh Winter. Lets hope they stay free. Canada is an amazing country with lots of wilderness that is more than able to support these beautiful horses. Thank you for posting.

Is it against the law to help the stallion with the limp? It looked like his front right leg or foot. The grass looks pretty grim can they be given hay during winter months? Some of them look a little on the thinner side. The stallions look amazing, happy to see some foals. Thank you for sharing, I pray I can see them in person some day soon🐎💖💖💖Did you find the young roan?

These horses don’t look healthy. 😢 They look emaciated and their coats are in terrible condition. 😢Their ribs are clearly visible. 🥺They aren’t true wild horses. They are domesticated animals who got away from humans. 😕
