I still have my Samsung Galaxy A70 from 5 years ago. It's been a very good phone for the time I have had it. Albeit, the battery life is not as good as it was when I first bought it. I couldn't justify pay well over £1000 for what essentially is a phone. Mine does what it needs to do and will continue using until it dies. I'm not one for contracts either. I think you get this new phone on contract, it can cost you upwards of £50 a month. I wouldn't dare. That would soon get boring. I paid cash for my old A70 and if for some reason I couldnt afford to top up one month, I wouldn't have to. I'm currently with Giffgaff and all I pay is £10 a month for unlimited calls and texts and get 20gb data which is more than enough for my case use. If I didn't top up one month, I can still call giffgaff to giffgaff for 3 months before that stops.
