I've read in multiple places that it's not a good idea to use a 4067 chip for high current output (such as LED). It is intended for signal output / input only. For LEDs, it's better to use shift registers, such as the popular 74HC595.

Just a quick question. Is there a way to determine how many "samples" the atmega328p chip can take per second when doing something like this? Or does it depend on the complexity of the program running?

I thought with multiplexing you couldnt control multiple things at once which im trying to figure out how to do. I got the arduino uno r3 trying to control two 16 channel relay boards but no one has tutorials on this. Is it possible for you to teach us this? I think i read you can use an expander but i have no clue.

I read input directly from my moisture sensor to A0 pin of my board and it reads 4095, however if I use CD74HC4067 to read input, it shows incorrect and inconsistent values I ensured all the connections are correct but fail to find the solution to my problem
