Passionet - Startup Pitch for WE Pitch Competition

Passionet is a Michigan State University startup founded in October 2023.
It is a platform that connects mentors with mentees one spark at a time and provides a supportive global community of like-minded individuals to network and collaborate with. Our platform's MVP is that we divide the user experience into several industries and skills, allowing users a more holistic and focused approach to online professional community engagement. We provide opportunities for users to set goals to pursue their passions/interests and generate a customized "roadmap to success" using GenAI. Certain other special features include discussion threads, 1-one-1 connections with mentors for mentees, access to a condensed view of the latest job postings, an option for users to be both a mentor and a mentee in different groups/communities, receiving access to industry-specific hot trends, and an opportunity to explore several industries prior to joining one.
