A Saturday shooting spree across the South Side ended in Evanston, where four people were killed, including the gunman.

Among the victims is a near-graduation Ph.D. student of University of Chicago, originally from China. An extremely bright and promising young person. The parents are still figuring out how to get here given all the travel restrictions. The family of the gunman said that the gunman was a "great father, " and that the death of the gunman was a "great loss." These people feel that only their lives matter, and all the media have given them the reason to think this way. My heart goes to the families and the loved ones of the victims. Thanks police for putting a stop to the killing.

This is why I don't get it! This killer with multiple chargers of guns, drugs etc during the past 10 years and most of them dismissed or somewhat he can still walk free? In West, People always say everyone deserve another chance but if you did it twice, three times, ...., 10 times, this person does not deserve any more chances and should be eliminated from this world! Do all the innocent victims ever even have get second chance at all ???

This is alcohol induced psychosis! This man was always drinking heavily on Facebook live! 44% of all murderers were DRUNK at the time of the crime. Need to make it harder for people to get their hands on alcohol. Maybe a permit to purchase of some sorts/limit the amount someone can purchase.
