Hart always seems like a decent guy, was a top GK once upon a time, glad to see he got one last hurrah

The way Pep ousted Joe Hart is one of the most ruthless player manager moments I can remember. Hart was considered the best keeper in England at the time.

We knew how good Ange was when he managed Brisbane Roar. He won titles for us and we had an arsenal style invincibles team that went undefeated for like 36 games. Unprecedented in the A-League.

The man is a club legend. Had the pleasure of meeting him back then and getting a photo with him.

Criminally underrated goalkeeper. He was top class. Unfortunately things started to go sour after he had a poor Euro 2016 and goalkeepers are rarely forgiven for mistakes. It’s ruthless.

Plus, the game evolved and Pep started this whole playing out from the back stuff. That wasn’t Hart’s game. He was a brilliant, no nonsense, traditional goalkeeper.

Best way and very mature way to conduct a professional relationship.

Pep really gave Joe the shaft huh. He was better off with Joe than Claudio Bravo in his first season.

Pep destroyed him when he got to City, top 5 keeper in his prime

I wish Ange has success at Spurs. Breath of fresh air imo, but I think his days are numbered at Tottenham, even if they win the Europa, which I hope they do.

He will succeed elsewhere I am sure!

"And then Ange told me he had one demand and that was to shave my head cos my weird fringe thing was making him feel physically sick"

Hart wasn't the only person who lost respect for Fraudiola. Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Ibrahimovic, Yaya Toure, and a few others never bought into his philosophy

What was he talking about when he said he'll "be working between the two on days off"?

Hart made some poor moves after leaving City. Going to Burnley where he'd have to compete with Heaton and Pope, then Spurs with Lloris just killed his confidence and any chance of regularly playing in the top flight

Joe Hart really had a rough one ever since he got banished by Pep for Cladio Bravo who was a worse keeper…
