If you've noticed your grocery bill is soaring, you're not alone. The prices of staples like dairy, bread and coffee have steadily gone up over the past 12 months - and turns out, a bunch of global factors are to blame.

We roped reporter Ilias Bakalla into explaining how cooked grocery prices are in the cost of living crisis - by forcing him to make us lunch.

The Feed is the home of inspiring documentaries, hard-hitting investigations and razor-sharp satire.

We invite our audience to see different, know better and laugh harder.

Corporations are increasing their prices even when uneffected. Why? Because they can. It's end stage capitalism.

Can barely find anything under $3.50 anymore...the most simplest food item is $3. Meanwhile let’s keep helping these other countries while our people starve...$3 don’t sound like much but it adds up FAST especially with hardly any good paying jobs.

There’s literally no reason for Australian grown/made produce to be more expensive. Greedy farmers.
