Malaysia lies just north of the Equator in Southeast Asia. The country is composed of two regions: Peninsular Malaysia, which is also called West Malaysia, and the island of Borneo, or East Malaysia. The island of Borneo is shared by the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak as well as the Indonesian Kalimantan and the tiny nation of Brunei. While Peninsular Malaysia is celebrated for its bustling cities, melting pot of culture, tasty food, and beautiful architecture, Borneo is home to an abundance of flora and fauna, numerous ethnic tribes, and dense jungles. In this video, we highlight 10 amazing places to visit in Malaysia.

Awesome

I have just come back from my 6th trip to Malaysia which was the Borneo part of Malaysia, mainly Sabah. And apart from Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, I did the other 4 plus visited Mabul and Sipadan Islands as well as visiting Semporna. Also visited Kuching in Sarawak too. And I did go to Brunei as well.
My first 5 visits to Malaysia, it was all in the peninsula region and been to KL, Penang, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Kuala Terengganu, Redang Island, Perhentian Island, Kapas Island, Tioman Island, Putrajaya and Langkawi - I'll say Langkawi was amazing

Your videos about Malaysia are amazing and they really inspired me to travel there. When do you think it is a good time to visit the west coast from Penang to Kuala Lumpur?
I had read about June-July but a I am bit concerned about the chances of haze.

Hello, it is a very nice video thank you for all this informations! We are planning to go there for our Honeymoon and I'm looking forward to it, though I do have some questions:
- What type of Backpack do you have ?
- Do you have the name of the "tour companies" you used for the activities we can see in the video (Tanan Negara Forest, on the boat in Borneo, the immersion in the villages and tribes, etc ...) ?
- What time of the year have you been there? (As it looks not that busy on your video, so it's nice ^^)
- Do you think you need a guide in Tenan Negara Forest (animals-wise speaking, is it too dangerous on your own?) and have you been on your own on the trails in Cameron Highlands ?
Sorry to ask, but it will be my first trip out of Europe and obviously we don't have here the type of faune they have so I'm just wondering ;)
Thank you so much for your answers and time, I'm on my way to watch the other videos now :D
