TUGS - First Prototype Intro (April 1988)

Here it is, the legendary prototype intro, as seen in the rare promotional tape. Cleaned up, upscaled, color corrected, and stabilized. This was provided by our lovely friend (TW: @RingwoodJamie), who graciously lent us the tape to transfer on our professional equipment. The visuals here are from a MUNITIONS production tape, sourced from a 2nd generation master.

This is something that the trust could have done so easily. It's unfortunate to see how much greed and the craving of power can affect such brilliance like this piece of television history! I hope the props land in the hands of people who actually have the skill and knowledge on how to preserve them. Tugboats Landing is a perfect example on how to make things like this accesable to fans who just want the hard work of others to be remembered and appreciated. Thanks so much to you and to everyone who has done their bit on showcasing everything that TUGS still has to offer, let's hope that we get to see more lost media from this fantastic series in the future (& that it falls into the hands of the right people!)

Well Shit! It’s just lost media central all up in here! The deleted content for magic railroad comes out September 29th on the Blu-ray, new lost stills for The Missing Coach made their way to the internet this morning, (August 10th). Now the TUGS Jinxed deleted scenes get to see the light of day. Man! 2020s been one hell of a rollercoaster!
