BMW G87 M2 | Chasing Fast Times! *100-200kmh Acceleration, 0-60mph Launch Control*

Hey guys, today we're taking another crack at the dragy 0-60mph runs with the BMW M2 G87. We're also adding 100-200kmh runs to the fold since we'll have the car setup properly for timing. These times were very surprising after failing brutally in our last timing video. Lowering rear PSI, warming up the tires, finding a clean surface and shifting quickly and cleanly are all keys to launching the car well. Thankfully, everything went smoothly and we put down some awesome times. Enjoy the video!

Hey Nestor. So I suggest you try without launch control. It isn’t always the best, especially when you dump the clutch.
Also constant launch controls and clutch dumping is just causing drivetrain shock and premature wear, and all for the same sort of times.

It takes a bit of finesse to get a perfect launch in a manual and when you do, it’s extremely satisfying.

Anyway regardless, pretty impressive time. Can’t wait for mine to arrive next month.

It would be Fantastic with an ECU tune and a K&N panel filter (Like the OEM).
I believe that the car would do 7.**** seconds in 100-200 km/h.

Nice vid :-) 0-60mph does not equal 0-100kmh. You actually measured 0-96.56kmh ;-) It should do 4.1 on the 0-100kmh. This makes the M2 times actually even worse. Weight is a biatch in a RWD car. Porsche knows this for example ;-)

Please do this at a drag strip . Remember this is too dangerous on crappy Ontario roads with other cars and children . I have a new M2 as well and I would only go to Cayuga or Mosport. I know you are trying to make content and get more followers but watch Archie Hamiltons latest M2 video on a race track and he is an experienced race car driver and he gets more followers because he would never put other people’s lives at risk. Also you know the Police are watching your videos and they can take your License away and impound your car.
