Regn, Operi, and Bashi cross vast expanses of polar ice, seeking a certain hulking glacier. Regn is a serious little girl with the distinctive green markings of the Dola.
Big, shaggy hodor, Operi, is Regn’s wise old Tor whose life-long commitment is to teach, guide and protect her. Spry, mischievous Bashi is a fox-like kivit and Regn’s lighthearted friend. As they travel, Operi reassures Regn about the task ahead: she is ready, she knows what to expect, and she – and only she – can wake the planet. Regn is still not sure.
