I think Matt has always seemed like a reserved kinda guy and I think it gets taken the wrong way by people (people who like to argue about people they don't know). He doesn't do anything rude here. He didn't remember the picture with Ricky, should he lie? Ricky is also a lovely guy. He comes across really genuine and nice. I don't see why people have to be hating on either of them.

Wow, I don't remember Matt LeBlanc being this obnoxiously smug 15 years ago.  He sometimes had a bit of that aura about him in interviews near the end of Friends' run starting around '01-02, but that just seemed to be his personality, not genuine arrogance.  Has he always been this way?  

I remember how the other 5 on Friends always were pretty fucking humble for being stars of the most successful sitcom of all time, shown in over 200 countries and famous pretty much everywhere in the world, and they always made sure to give credit to the writers, the director, their co-stars, etc.
Courteney Cox & Matthew Perry stand out as two who really maintained a down-to-earth attitude, and Lisa Kudrow & David Schwimmer mostly accomplished the same but without losing their shit [Matthew Perry had a drug problem while he was on Friends, and Courteney managed to destroy her face in a timespan of a few years, after Friends ended.  Maybe it was difficult for her since Jennifer Aniston apparently has an anti-aging portion that normal mortals can't access, but Lisa aged, and she has done so gracefully, without massive plastic surgery.]  I can't imagine LeBlanc was any different.  But he seemed to give the fewest one-on-one interviews after Friends ended - maybe there was a reason?
