Traffic has been the Philippines' persisting problem because of car-centrism. The government thinks building more skyways in Metro Manila will alleviate the traffic jam but actually it will only excacerbate the problem. Railways are taking so long to finish.

As if no more solutions to this horrendous traffic. Just imagine from Sta Lucia, Pasig City to Tarlac City took us 41/2 hrs! Ni d man kmi nkapasyal man lng sa Gateway Araneta or nka visit man lng sa Quiapo church

EDSA. My mother and I use this road to go home. Usually, we leave before 5:00 to dodge the traffic. We get home in around 40 minutes. But there was this one time when we left at 5:30, and trust me when I say, the traffic was PEAK. It was so heavy, that we took 8 HOURS getting home from San Juan to Parañaque. Especially workers when they leave at that time. For those driving cars, even though they are exhausted, they still have to go through traffic.
HUWAG AALIS NG 5:00-6:00. Kung aalis ka sa trabaho sa oras na iyon, iyon ay talagang kapus-palad.

How to survive a long traffic in Manila:

Step 1: get a van or a car with big space

Step 2: mod it to look like a camper

Step 3: need atleast 5 hours shifts looking at the car or let the honking wake u up to move the car

Step 4: go to other places u wanna visit in manila

Step 5: if ur still there go to the nearest convenience store gas station

Step 6: rinse and repeat
