They never toured my country once in almost half a century of existence, so I bit the bullet, saved my pennies and flew to North America from Melbourne three times just to see them. That's the kind of loyalty and dedication that band inspired in its fans....

They all had a good sense of humor, I remember Geddy saying that they still referred to Neil as " The new guy " after 40 years together! 😂

You have to respect and appreciate Geddy making himself available for so many interviews and events. He is so articulate and a real gentleman, as were/are his bandmates. A Rush fan couldn't ask for more, although we always want it anyway!

You have to admire these 3 gentlemen. Very talented, very intellectual & without egos. Their music is just so interesting & intellectually solid. They are all amazing !

I met Alex Lifeson before a show and had my photo taken with him. He’s got a great sense of humor, we were joking back and forth about something which I can’t remember what it was. Very down to earth guy. My cousin is a bass player and rush fanatic so he’s standing next to geddy and he has the Polaroid that was taken when we met them.

Geddy is historys greatest musician. Yes, more than bach, beethoven van halen. His ability to write the melodies, multi task, and all of the sound effects melodies...hes an absolute genius

Arguably the most underrated band/musicians on the planet. Spectacular musicianship.

If Alex never made it as a musician, he could have been a legit stand up comic. Guy is hilarious

3 straight up no B.S. guys, that checked their ego's at the door and got down to some serious music.

I watched Geddy Lee play intricate bass lines with just his left hand, synth with his right hand, bass pedals with his foot AND sing. At the same time! That was in San Diego in 77-78. A truly incredible musician.

The fact that Dan Rather can conduct such an interesting interview with Geddy, a guy who’s only a household name among certain rock fans, speaks volumes about his chops as an interlocutor.

As many of you know Geddy is a wine collector. During my professional driving days I was the lucky chosen one in our company to take him out on a wine surfing trip that day during their tour in town. I drove him to several wine specialty stores. We filled up the trunk to the max!

3 of the greatest musicians of their generation, with all the awards and gold records and history, and yet all 3 were still humble, nice, genuinely good people despite all the success. Rush was my favorite band EVER as a teenager in the 70's, and they remained my favorite into my old age by just being themselves. Truly legendary icons of Rock & Roll!

Caress of steel is the album that made me understand how great this band is. The story telling and the musical virtuosity was both next level and unmatched. I love this band. A true blessing to have come up on this music

There was never a band that inspired and mirrored my life than Rush. Started high school during Moving Pictures, left home just when Roll the Bones was released and got married the same week Counterparts was released. Been trying to play guitar since the beginning of it all. Something in me died in Jan 2020.
