I went back to horseshoe overlook and heard the girls singing a song. Then went to the campsite close to rodes and heard uncle singing a song and playing guitar

As if that area wasn't tragically depressing enough... I always go back there to see if the Murphy Broods respawned and decimate all of them. When you go back there the first time after the Epilogue as John they say something about recognizing him.

No matter what people say, John definitely experienced some second-hand PTSD from the situation, The reminiscing at every turn of camp, The emotions during it. and the silence surrounding him at truth. It all adds up to him having these farback memories he really cannot shake off.

You can hear ghosts at all the former camp locations IIRC. I know Horseshow Overlook has John recall the party night after they saved Sean.

Arthur sacrificed himself to save John so that he can have a better life, but then the sad truth strikes, that John Marston took the blame of the entire gang after all of them were killed.

they really drill this in Arthur's entire goal was to give John a happy ending. which only happens for about a few years

I just love the fact that Rockstar added these little details into the game. If you so happen to go back to the old camps you can hear different dialogues from said camp.

When I played red dead redemption2 I felt annoyed on how John didn’t appreciate Arthur Morgan for helping him many times when John would cause trouble or being selfish. I really miss Arthur Morgan because he was an anti hero but also cared for people and willing to work on fixing mistakes.
