I am leftie but I actually wear my watch on the left hand. It just feels more natural to me, and it's weird on the right hand

Personally I wear it on my dominant right hand. Practically to protect the crown, not the case and crystal. It is a vintage, the crown is the most fragile weakspot. I don't worry about bumping it because the case and acrylic crystal is very durable. Also I don't wind it while on my wrist.

The crown is on the other side so that left handed people can wind the watch with their left hand. Not because the crown is digging in ones wrist (after all the crown would even dig into the wrist of a left handed person because it‘s on the left side).

WoW! The Green and Black Rolex is magnificent!
I personally always wear watches on my left wrist. It is more easy to set it up with my right hand.

Left handed people like me wear the watch
also on the not dominant hand = right side.

For us lefties it is „normal“ that those watches have the crown pointing to our elbow,
just like every other watch out there on the market
(exceptional the Rolex green GMT).

I like the crown pointing to my shoulder and
not to the hand / floor,
so it can‘t digging the crown into my wrist.

Left handers are marvelous!

Special thanks to Teddy Baldassarre,
his videos are the best out here, by far!

Lots of love @ all watch enthusiasts and
wear your watches on the arm you prefer <3

We wear watches on the left hand because it's much easier for a right handed person to put on a watch (which used to be very expensive)using the right hand so the hand available for wearing the watch was only the left hand.

I am left handed and still wear it on the left arm. Idk why i just naturally put it there when first wearing one.

Thank you for the info Teddy, and love your Doxa! Generally I’m a lefty, but I do a lot of activities right handed. I’ve began waiting my watches on my right wrist at a young age, and it feels über odd on my left.

Also, Patek Philippe’s 5373—a split-seconds monopusher chronograph & perpetual calendar for left-handers.👍

Currently enjoying my current addition, which is a Promaster dive watch. Cheap too.

Leftie here, would proudly wear the Multiverse Hulk ( as I call it ). I may start a separate left wrist box . I never thought to collect leftie watches 😮😅. My watches have hard lives 😆.

id also add it just seems obvious because you'd most likely use your dominant hand, usually better finger dexterity, to set the time via the crown

Most watches have crown on right side which makes easy to wear on left hand and wind the spring or adjust the time.

wrist watches for men started in the military (German Navy and later British Army) and right hand could be used while checking time on left wrist !

Right hand dominant and I have always wore my watch on my right hand. People always called me weird for it, but I absolutely prefer, especially because I box and don't want the crown of the watch to stop me from doing them in a life or death situation
