That watch walked in five minutes before I did! 😂

I don’t even think the Rolex claim is the hottest take on the clip. The claim that a “bust down” AP is a step up from a factory AP is. Factory AP’s are often significantly more expensive than the custom one and they definitely hold value better.

It depends entirely on where you live. A few hundred grand in Mississippi is very different from a few hundred grand in Los Angeles or New York.

This isn't accurate at all. I make far more than a few hundred K a year. I won't get into numbers. I own about 15 Rolex watches ranging from Datejusts to Daydates to Subs, as well as a Cartier Skeleton, AP, IWC and more. With all of the watches I have tried on in my life, nothing is a more comfortable watch than a Datejust with a jubilee band. I wear them more than any of my other watches. It's also a watch that can let your clients know, I'm successful, but your money is going towards your build, and not towards buying me a 6 or 7 figure watch. Now, if you own just one entry level Datejust, this might apply.

Couple grand a year 😂then your def not in the starting to make a little money range. If you make 200k a year. Then you would be more in the range of entry level AP or mid range rolex
