Maybe it's just overexposure to Greco-Roman myth when I was younger, but Egyptian deities come off as so much more badass and exotic. Even their names sound more powerful - compare this list to say, Hermes, Aphrodite, Apollo, etc. Granted, the name Poseidon sounds pretty awesome, as does Hades or Ares.

The Aesir are the same way as the Pesedjet: Odin, Thor, Heimdalr, Tyr, Frigga...
