I decided to come around here since today, July 8 2024, it's Transmissions' 10th anniversary.

I just wanted to say thank you, guys, your music style really made me find my way and understand what I wanted to do, and it all began here 10 years ago.

You've had a fantastic journey, with such an awesome evolution and development in your music that I have adored to see with my own eyes.

No matter how many times my musical taste changes I always come back to this band... MANN THESE SONGS ARE MASTERPIECES

My dad and I discovered this band together, back when this was their only album. We know it back to front. On one of their last tours, we were shocked to hear them start Point of No Return. Not a ton of the audience knew it, but it has always our favorite to rock out to together. What an experience to hear it live!

Every year, In the month that I got sick in (July), I come back to this band. I found it exactly one month before I got sick from a Pain condition and Neuro condition which has left me very... Weak and sick. But one single band has been a constant. And its Starset. I always come back, always listening to all their songs and albums. I can sing nearly every lyric, even tho I struggle to remember my own name some days. This album was the first one I found. And I wish I could oneday write to them my story and how My demons and Anti Gravity became the songs Id listen to when I couldnt even walk. For 10 weeks I was Paralyzed down my left leg and now, even still, I cant always walk. The pain can get so bad I become paralyzed and unable to breath. And its those days, only their music can get me to get up and fight for everything I have now. Even on days I cant see my self worth. Its their music. Its their words that make me remember, I cant live shackled. I will always need to move. Need to fight.

The doppler effect shows up as an apparent change in frequency, and is caused by relative motion between the satellite transmitter and the receiving antenna on earth. While the satellite is approaching, the received frequency is higher than the one actually transmitted. The wave-lengths are compressed by the velocity of the approaching satellite, as the intervening distance narrows. As the satelitte nears the point of closest approach, the received frequency discerns rapidly, to match the one we know as being transmitted. As the satellite goes away, the received frequency continues to drop.
