Elden Ring fans are going to war over the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, because some players are saying the new content is too hard. It's gotten so bad that FromSoftware has had to show people were Scadutree Fragments can be found.

Ah yes cry when it’s too easy then cry when it’s too hard like the point is it’s end game content more to get better for

Its the same as the base game in the sense that if you find one aspect too hard... study it and correct your mistakes, practice makes permanent, you have to reflect and learn.
If it is genuinely too hard, come back later, i struggled with a few bosses so i came back later with better weapons.
I also found different strategies, use the environment such as rooftops to make enemies fall, heavy attacks to knock enemies off heights, etc.
Or simply, outrun some enemies.
The DLC is very fun and im having a great time going in blind, my only issue isnt the difficulty at all, they're aggressive enemies but not much harder than some base game enemies, my issue is the missable quests

People are stupid I'm having more fun in the dlc than the base game and I suck at elden ring

Really? I went into the DLC blind and I struggled a bit here or there, but it wasn't too difficult, I was just exploring around, finding the different equipment and testing out new builds, and using the Scadutree fragments, and I think I only died about 5 times to the last boss of it, but most of my deaths were just from missing jumps because I was playing other games and kept forgetting which button was the jump one.

My problem with the dlc is that the scadutree fragments don't feel like a "i could beat this without getting the items but it'd be easier if i did", but more like a "go do this scavenger hunt so you can even engage with the dlc" to be clear i know it's possible to beat the dlc without scadutree fragments my problem is the difficulty feels artificial, the boss isn't hard because it has a challenging moveset its hard because its numbers are overtuned until you complete the scavenger hunt, i play pathfinder 2e, when i GM it i use the automatic bonus progression rule so i don't have to worry about handing out math fixers all the time, scadutree fragments are just er:sote's math fixers and i don't like that direction from fromsoft, compare it to something like sekiro, where the whole game is hard because of challenging movesets it just disappoints me the fromsoft went the skyrim route for difficulty

For me it just depends on how you play the game really and it will be good for you and All you need to do is get a build that can be good for you and learn the bosses attacks that’s all and learn how to manoeuvre the attacks

Okay I'll tell you what happened.
A lot of new audience came. Overboard since whole kai cenat blow up.
Normally a game like elden ring need long hours of grinding in game so know all the stuff.
OR you can depend on the community like written walkthroughs ( yeah, remember when that was used to be a thing)
OR just watch a YouTube play through
When you get stuck at something.
The first time this game launched it was given that this happened since this was a souls type game.
It's is given fact, that one person can't figure everything out.
But these new audiences weren't patient enough.
