Thanks for pointing out you need to push hard. I tried this once but didn’t realize what I needed to do. I heard the air continuing to leak out, panicked from social anxiety, and left without fixing it 😂

Great video! I'm a senior, been driving for years and never had to put air into my own tires, but now all the full service gas stations in my town are self-serve. So I never had to learn to do this myself. My only worry is being able to stand up after I kneel to put the air in LOL!

This is a great video, thank you! Really emphasized the difficult part of holding it on the valve stem. Sometimes it can feel like you're doing something wrong if you feel like you're forcing it so that was really helpful.

The only thing I would add to this is to mention to make sure you don't lose the little valve cover piece when you take it off. It can be really easy to lose those things, especially if you are doing this at night and considering they are normally black.

I would have never believed it would have 643, 000 views and almost 400 comments. I always say that this is all I have to show for my putting 30 years of labor on the farm is how to show someone how to add air to a tire. Funny thing is the location has change from 7 years ago the same machine is still there El Camino and I-5 exit in Oceanside CA. I think a Chevron, but the tree behind me has grown a lot when I shot this video it was a small branch now its a huge tree!

Agree 1000% on how hard some tire stems can be. Have issues on newer cars where I can't tell if the pressure machine is broken or if my tire stem is. Air ends up leaving the tire sometimes if you aren't careful.
