Adidas Solarglide 4 St - Perfect For Those Recovering From An Injury And Wanting To Run!

In this video i will be reviewing the Adidas SolarGlide 4 ST.

As you can guess, the ST stands for stability, which was a life saver for me when i sprained my ankle (5 times) during a trail run.
Without this shoe i'm sure i wouldn't have been able to continue running the days afterwards.

The day after my sprained ankle i started running with the SolarGlide for the first time.
Even with a big swollen and sore ankle, i managed to run a 5K.
This was only possible due to the great padding in the SolarGlide, Stability frame and overall comfort.

I used the shoe for a bit more than 10 consecutive days to make sure my ankle could heal up properly.
To give you an idea, the first 7 days after i sprained my ankle, i managed to still run 44Km!

When i switched back over to a more "normal" shoe, the difference was incredible, i immediately noticed what kind of support and stability the SolarGlide was giving me, and that my feet had gotten used to that!
The first days in a normal shoe my feet needed to adapt again to the reduced support and comfort.

The SolarGlide 4 has already been released quite a while back, there is already a version 5 and even a 6.
But you can still find the 4 on the website of adidas and others (at the release of this video, August '23).

This shoe is a definite recommendation if you are having an injury like i had, or if you are coming back from another kind of injury and want to make sure you got good protection to not further delay your recovery!

For me a long run is 10 miles. My ankles get sore and inflammed after long mileage. Takes a few days for the inflammation to go away. I'm in a warm climate. What do you use for your long runs?
