A little slower little brighter light on the close-ups could be iron pyrite for all we know good video though..

There’s a reason Iron Pyrite is called “Fool’s Gold”

This reminds me of the time my friends and I found a hidden lagoon in a cave with a pirate ship and there was a ton of rich stuff on the ship. It helped my parents not lose their house.

You can be sure this guy knows what he is doing when he uses a screw driver and a claw hammer for his mineral prospecting.

I love how the beat it with a hammer to remove it but oh they need a soft brush to dust it off to not damage it lol

When you make more money from Youtube videos than you do gold prospecting.

For those watching and don’t know make sure you check online before going somewhere looking for gold, there are people out there that will kill your for taking minerals from their claims

expecting gold in slate. good luck. For everyone else, it most probably is pyrite (iron sulphide) which forms on a reducing environment, typical of slates with a good amount of organic matter / carbonaceous matter, like the ones you would expect from Silurian slates. Gold doesn't appear randomly inside a rock, even less on a slate wich is considered a fine size grained rock.

All that that means is that there's gold somewhere in that blob. It could be 99% Pyrite and 1% Gold.

Natural gold looks far more beautiful than when it's processed into boring jewellery.

So interesting, I believe I will make plans to mine some minerals and pan for gold. A fun activity for retirement 😊
