Yeah, but that will cause all my fandom to go away and I will lose my stardom & ego boosts & money.

Sam Harris eventually discovered that Jordan Peterson refuses to be clear and unambiguous and thus abandoned these fruitless discussions with him. Peterson specializes in word-salad statements and "it depends on what you mean by ..." replies.

I think I share this as my major issue with Jorderson on religion. I've seen and heard countless comments from Christians say that they are so happy about Jorderson believing in the same god they do and that clearly demonstrates his dishonesty. His position is clear to those who consider his words objectively but he will never outright admit his position because he knows that it will alienate the true believers of the religion that he finds so useful in controlling people.

Thank you, Sam, for nailing Peterson to his own bs.

JP himself is not a bible thumper, but a great chunk of his avid listeners/followers are (or least are Christian apologists)

Jordie, I agree with you when debating the woke college kids. Suggestion, don't debate an intelligent articulate atheist. YOU LOSE EVERY SINGLE TIME...

I am Christian but it’s sad seeing JP trying to defend Christianity without fully knowing the doctrines of Christianity.

And JP still never answered that question

I believe in the bodily resurrection from the dead of all people -- of the just unto the resurrection of life, and of the unjust unto the resurrection of damnation. The resurrection of Christ is the guarantee of the resurrection which will occur at Christ's Second Coming. The raised body will be spiritual body, but the person will be whole and identifiable.

You'd have to be dense to think money and stardom is what Jordan Peterson is after. The people that believe that others shouldn’t profit off the good they do, if doing good is what they're really after, then that says more about how they see the world rather than the reality of the person in question. Why shouldn’t someone put themselves in a position of wealth and ability to do more good if they have the opportunity to? The money is going to the top regardless. Why shouldn’t it go to people who do good?

Does he own it or obfuscate?

I bet the latter!

I find it interesting that non believers don’t just calmly present their views and debate. They engage in ad hominem attacks or their really angry. Why is that ? Sounds irrational in a debate

Jesus ain’t coming back, hasn’t he suffered enough ? Lol

It's always fun to watch Jordan duck this question.

The Scriptures clearly teach that there is conscious personal existence after death. The final of each person is determined by God's grace and that person's response, evidence inevitably by a moral character which results from that individual's personal and volitional choices and not from any arbitrary decree of God. Heaven with its eternal glory and the blessedness of Christ's presence is the final abode of those who choose the salvation which God provides through Jesus Christ, but hell with its everlasting misery and separation from God is the final abode of those who neglect his great salvation.

The Judgement Of All Persons

The Scriptures reveal God as the Judge of all and the acts of His judgement are based on His omniscience and eternal justice. His administration of judgement will culminate in the final meeting of all persons before His throne of great majesty and power, where records will be examined and final rewards and punishments will be administered.

I used to like mr Peterson but with more fame and more money he has gone completely off the deep end and is just arguing for the sake of it. His word jumble to sound clever is frustrating to hear
