Francis, I use the "The Jigs Up". It allows you solder any connector you have and has alligator clips too. It is made of aluminum and it is even American made. Take a look and you will see. Thoughts ?

never had issues solder coming off while out racing and my drones/heli, , do it right and dont use cheap solder and make sure you dont have cold solder and your fine. but its nice to have just in case .. i prefer to use that on a 4s power minimum as 12v dont get as hot and end up with a weak solder joint

I think for the money to get one that’s usable I’ll stick with butane for a portable one. I’ve only ever used it once or twice anyways.

francis i seen 2 guys take there 25 dollar esc's the isdt ones you swore by...and fling them like a frisbee bc they suck...just saying..please give the 1080 esc its top place back in the brushed esc category#1 not #2 or #3...just bc something comes out new and cheap..you can't jump out the window saying its the best brother...you can put lip stick on a pig...it's still a pig....
