Mexico City's CRAZIEST Market 🇲🇽

Today we are exploring Mexico's craziest market, La Merced in Mexico City, Mexico. Most locals in CDMX will tell you not to go to this mercado in Mexico City and even some Mexican locals don't go there themselves. It's one of Mexico's most important markets however were thousands of goods and foods pass through. Some people say this area in Mexico City is not Safe for tourists. When it comes to Mexico City and its safety we have felt very comfortable in CDMX. And just like every city in Mexico, we always seem to see the friendliest locals.

This Mexico City Market was one of the highlights of our Mexico Trip in 2022. We will be trying plenty of Mexican Street food, as well as showing you around this extremely hectic market that has so much to offer! People warned us about going to La Merced. They told us not to visit MEXICO'S CRAZIEST MARKET. We were warned that we may get lost in the maze. Our friends were concerned that the number of people could overwhelm us. We were cautioned that we may even get run over by a car. But we decided to accept this challenge. Because we LOVE markets. And we had to see this place for ourselves.

That's so cool that you went to see Lucha Libre, going to local sporting events in other countries is definitely something I need to do. This market does indeed seem like a maze while watching. It was also really cool to here the origins of lucha libre explained by a local. After going through the buys markets in Africa, I knew you'd be prepared for the busyness. Love that you went to a Lucha Libra show in Mexico City, I was a massive wrestling fan when I was growing up so I would definitely try and do the same if I was in Mexico. That market sure did look wild, the food and entertainment was the icing on the cake - and speaking of cakes that one at the end looked amazing. Another great video!

Hey guys, this is fun! That wrestling match looks great fun. Cool arcade games. It really is a crazy market! That Santo mask is brilliant, love the older designs. Did you ever see the old British wrestling that was on TV every weekend (over here) with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks? Loved that Big Daddy’s real name was Shirley Crabtree haha. Watch out for those cars and bikes. Toucan Do It…very good 😂. That fruit looked so good. I don’t know why but we always love looking at the fruit in street markets. Never heard of a huaraches before, they look good. Do they come with different toppings? That desert looks pretty damn amazing, I missed what you called it but I hope it tastes as good as it looks! Going into mexico's craziest market, well witytravels you are definitely dressed for it I am just loving the ninja headbands that will be really good in fighting off all the insane people in this market I can only imagine the kaos level at this market lol, the lucha libre matches was phenomenal so Gracious you know that's my weak spot the mexican wrestler's are always the top wrestlers all over the world so don't get me started preaching on wrestling so again thank's for the live shots, the traffic the driver's it's like you are at the daytona 500 they are pedal to the medel racing it reminds me of the traffic and the driver's in the Philippines no rules just go for it, but the markets are really colorful they have a nice variety to choose from and the people seemed to be nice helpful and friendly that Spanish quality and caring is always a good thing that I have experienced all over the world the markets was especially good just fast paced but that's a part of the culture hard working people getting it done as fast as possible I personally love it that drive to be successful putting in the hard work I love seeing that in people and also witytravels in some countries like India you actually have trains coming thru the markets in the middle of the day so just imagine that so car's coming thru are not so bad considering trains coming thru, witytravels this video that you made is on my top 10 list I have learned so much and I had fun along the way as well witytravels thank's again for your perseverance and determination and dedication in producing the finest videos on YouTube ♥️ ♥️
