In this video, I show some calculator tricks for AP Calculus. I am using the TI-84 Plus CE calculator to demonstrate these various tricks for AP Calculus.
The tricks that I show in this video are timestamped below:

0:00 - 0:23 - Resetting the calculator
0:23 - 1:00 - Typing in fractions
1:00 - 2:08 - Making a custom table with rational/irrational x values
2:08 - 3:15 - Adjusting the xmin/xmax and ymin/ymax
3:15 - 4:47 - VARS function shortcut
4:47 - 5:36 - Derivative as a function of x
5:36 - 6:17 - Making graph invisible without deleting function
6:17 - 6:42 - Derivative at a point
6:42 - 8:08 - Evaluating definite integrals (two ways)
8:08 - 8:50 - Zoom box for better graphs
8:50 - 10:25 - Storing points of intersection
10:25 - 11:19 - Finding the area between two curves

Write any tricks that I missed in the COMMENT section below. Also, write any questions or topics you would like me to cover in the COMMENT section below.

If you press alpha and then trace, you can also get to the functions (Y1, Y2, Y3, etc.) instead of going through vars.

Thank you so much for this video! I was so lost on how to use a graphing calculator and this helped so much! 🙏🙏

you can do the fraction trick on the ti-84 plus ce much quicker just by hitting ‘alpha’ then the ‘X, T, *theta*, n’ button

if you press zoom and then 0, your calculator will automatically fit the window to the table values of your current function

Hey! Does anyone know how I can "unstore" (sto command) the letters... meaning how do I revert it back to letters A, B, C.. etc. Just wondering if there is an easier way rather then resetting the ram on the calculator. :)

This video is a misleading trap into leading desperate students into a way to cheat through their exams. Your procedures, which surely only work on your specific Ti-xx, are also completely useless. Uses of the calculator are and have been known for years, per their documentation. Stop this misinformation of there being some sort of shortcut to making algebraic calculus work in this calculator; it can’t be done when tests are based off of exact algebraic values. Shame on you.
