Kamala Harris hits out at Donald Trump in campaign speech

Vice President Kamala Harris has hit out at Donald Trump as she kicks off her presidential campaign following Joe Biden’s withdrawal.

President Biden endorsed Ms Harris to replace him as the Democrat nominee after he announced he was dropping out of the race.

The Vice President referred to her experience as a district attorney and the attorney general of California, saying she knows “Donald Trump’s type”.

“In this campaign, I will proudly put my record against his,” Ms Harris said.
