The natives said it was a land bridge that was built. It's clearly there. It's clearly being eroded which tells me it may need upkeep. Why do we always dismiss the oral history of native peoples.

I am a twenty + year master carpenter and builder/ engineer, and I can tell you with out a shadow of a doute that that was definitely man made! Natural formations have much different characteristics as opposed to this. It is sad with academics and world governments are trying to do with our ancient history we the people need to stand and fight against this heresy!

There’s also an ancient fortress in Sri Lanka called Sigiriya. Also known as “Ravana’s Palace”, it is an impenetrable rock surrounded by a maze of moats and traps. At the top of the mountain is a tiered city with pools and walls. In theory the pools control the moats below that floods the base drowning any invading army. If that wasn’t bad enough the waterways were littered with crocodiles.
About halfway up the mountain are two giant reptilian claws carved out of the rock-face, with stairs in between leading up.
Also, across the mountain but within the perimeter of the ruins is a giant throne, just sitting in the woods made of the same rock as the mountain.
I believe this to be where Rama and Ravana’s armies met in battle all those ages ago.

By the way my mom's name is "Seetha". I've learned this story when I was a kid. We used to just keep these ancient stories aside saying they aren't true . We've learned in school about a king in sri lanka who had 10 Giants servant. ( King Dathusena ). It's true that thru out the time these stories have changed . But none of them were made up. There has to be some truth behind all of them.

Hi! Something to share. According to the epic Ramayana, the human civilization from which Shri Ram belonged, didn't had anything like the Pushpaka Vimana. That "flying vehicle" belonged to celestial beings from other dimensions: the Devatas. The Pushpaka Vimana was built by Vishwakarma, who gave it to Kubera who is/was a divine treasurer. The vimana was stolen from Kubera by Ravana, the asura king. Kubera and Ravan were half brothers, and Ravan fought with him and became the king of Lanka and got lots of riches, and one of them was the Pushpaka Vimana. A Vimana was a vehicle controlled by the mind/consciousness of its owner, and it only obeyed the commands of that person. When Ravana died, the vimana obeyed the next king, who was Vibhishana, who was Ravan's younger brother. That's why Ram was able to return to Ayodhya by air, flying the Pushpaka Vimana, because Vibhishana was the current owner.
I share this details to bring some context, because Shri Ram didn't had access to those advanced technological objects. As powerful as he was, he was from the human race of that time. The civilization was highly spiritual and sophisticated, but they didn't have advanced technology of the likes of the vimana. If they had that level of technology, Shri Ram would have had an easier way to rescue Sita.
