They say you have to be your own number one fan...

I may have taken that statement too literally. Also what song next?! 👇🏻

People are talking about the "Mandela Effect", and I'm here experiencing the Berthoud Effect, where every bass line sounds way more awesome than what I remember.

That was one of the best hardest songs yet. You must have practiced over a million hours for this one. Bravo! So much fun to watch and groove to.

According to a research paper, Stayin Alive has the perfect pace to perform CPR. I think with that cover, you won't even need the CPR, the guy will just come back to life after the tapping part.

It’s not just the bass, it’s the personality, screen play, acting, composition, editing, balance, the whole package — another Amazing Videos By Charles — and total entertainment. Thank you.

You can tell by the way he uses his bass, he's a music man

That synth solo hit SO HARD! Insane job and insane musicianship!

whats crazy is not only is he an insanely good bassist with a unique playing style that is actively refining and changing what it means to play the bass, he is a talented composer who uses musical knowledge to create intricate, complex, yet enjoyable compositions that are difficult to play yet not pretentious and still convey a good, enjoyable version of the melody

im so glad that i have the chance to witness talent like this

Not only is he the best bassist alive. He is also a pro at piano/keybord. Can hold his own with the 6 string small scale piccolo bass too.

Just love the creativity. The runs, the tapping, it's all a work of art materializing before our eyes. Keep it up Charles, you deserve all the accolades. You play with heart and passion, you pour your soul into every note.

I wish Charles looked like this in every video!!!! It would change the entire vibe of the channel. Great playing as usual. Impressive variety of styles.

Such a great song, masterfully reworked into a phenomenal bass solo.

that synth solo was transcendent, and completely unexpected. Reminds me of some power/symphonic metal songs I loved growing up

I'd like to see you play "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder It is such a funky song and with your creativity, I can't imagine how much more you can do with the song.

This was by far my favorite "hardest song", and the synth components really added to it.

I don't know why this guy didn't reached 1 million yet . This talent should be respected .

You know Charles could just wake up one day and decide to play bass with a fish and he'd still make it sound great
