Here's some trivia: this actually isn't the original version of _BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2._ This version was a downloadable "practice" version for offline play while St. GiGa was doing the weekly league play. Unfortunately, there's no significant footage of the broadcast, unlike with _BS F-Zero Grand Prix_ – which, incidentally, had a new planet (Forest), compared to _F-Zero._

We really do need to have a new official F-Zero game on the Switch. One with Drifting and other modern takes on the racing genre. I believe the last F-Zero was F-Zero Climax on GBA. It allowed you to build your own tracks. I really miss this franchise.

Years pass and SNES F-zero is still a Gem. Such a joy to play and i really like the way i get "zoned" while playing.

Game Suggestion for you both: Culture Brain's Flying Warriors for the NES. Cool game and interesting mix of RPG and beat'em up genres!

F-Zero for GameCube was really fun. The last F-Zero game I've played that I liked.

I think they're missing a thing there. This is a romhack version where the original SNES sequenced music was imported but there are videos aroudn youtube showing that the actual japanese broadcast back in time had streamed higher quality music as well as a commentator narrating things during the broadcast.

Would you ever consider looking into the GBA F-Zero Trilogy (Maximum Velocity, GP Legend and Climax) some day? Barely anyone really seems to even mention them, and least from my experiences anyways, so it’d be pretty cool to maybe give them some attention.
